NMDC Steel shareholders back all resolutions at 10th AGM

NMDC Steel Limited's 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on August 28, 2025, saw the approval of all ten ordinary resolutions with significant majorities. The resolutions, encompassing the adoption of financial statements, re-appointment of directors, and ratification of auditor remunerations, received strong shareholder backing.

Key resolutions, such as the adoption of the audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, passed with 99.8795% of total votes polled in favour. The re-appointment of Abhijit Narendra as director secured 94.5616% support, while Vishwanath Suresh's re-appointment garnered 95.8147%.

The appointment of Joydeep Dasgupta as director (production) and Priyadarshini Gaddam as director (personnel) also received substantial approval with 94.6998% and 95.8006% of votes in favour, respectively. Additionally, shareholders approved Amitava Mukherjee as chairman and managing director with 94.7175% support, and Ashish Chatterjee as government director with 94.5622% approval. The remuneration for statutory auditors was ratified with 99.8792% of votes, and the appointment of secretarial auditor passed with 95.9304% approval.
