Medi Assist reports strong FY25 performance ahead of 25th AGM

Medi Assist Healthcare Services Limited will hold its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, to present its annual report for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. The company reported robust performance for FY25, with consolidated operating revenue increasing by 14% year-on-year to ₹7,233.2m. EBITDA stood at ₹1,541.1m, representing a 21.3% margin, and profit after tax reached ₹916.0m.

The company's market share in the total health insurance industry, based on premiums under management, rose to 30.3% in the group segment and 5.7% in the retail segment. Medi Assist expanded its provider network to 20,204 hospitals and reported over 175,000 express discharges enabled by Raksha Prime. The proposed acquisition of Paramount Health Services & Insurance TPA Private Limited is expected to further enhance its market share by approximately 6% in the group segment and 4% in the overall health insurance industry.

Medi Assist's technology-driven solutions prevented ₹390 crore in fraud, with 40% of fraud detected exclusively by AI systems. The company processed 8.9+ million claims in FY25 and covered over 290 million government health scheme beneficiaries. Despite strong financial results, the board did not recommend a dividend for FY25, opting to conserve resources for future growth opportunities.
