EaseMyTrip founder Nishant Pitti appointed chairman and managing director

EaseMyTrip announced that its founder, Nishant Pitti, has assumed the role of chairman cum managing director (CMD), effective August 29, 2025. This appointment, subject to shareholder approval, aims to strengthen the company's leadership and strategic initiatives. Pitti will focus on innovation, expansion, and stakeholder value creation, as the company continues to expand beyond travel into a diversified ecosystem of businesses.

The company reiterated its commitment that no further promoter shares will be sold and that all promoters will continue to draw zero salary. The board also acknowledged the contributions of Prashant Pitti, who has concluded his tenure to focus on mentoring startups and public-good initiatives, though he will remain a promoter of EaseMyTrip.
