TVS Motor unveils Orbiter EV for urban commute

TVS Motor Company announced the launch of its new electric scooter, the TVS Orbiter, on August 28, 2025. Priced at ₹99,900 (ex-showroom, inclusive of PM e-Drive scheme, Bengaluru), the Orbiter introduces several segment-first features, including a 158 km IDC range and an industry-first 14-inch front wheel for enhanced stability and comfort.

The TVS Orbiter boasts a 3.1 kWh battery and offers a spacious 34-litre boot space capable of holding two helmets. Key features include cruise control, hill hold assist, and advanced connected features like geo-fencing, time-fencing, towing, and crash/fall alerts, managed via a connected mobile app.

Designed for efficiency and control, the Orbiter also incorporates a 290 mm straight-line footboard and an 845 mm long flatform seat, providing superior comfort and utility. Available in vibrant colors including Neon Sunburst and Stratos Blue, the TVS Orbiter aims to strengthen TVS Motor’s position in India’s electric mobility market.
