Schneider Electric Infrastructure appoints new chief financial officer

Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited has appointed Omkar Prasad as its new chief financial officer (CFO), effective September 16, 2025. This appointment follows the resignation of Suparna Banerjee Bhattacharyya from the CFO position, effective at the close of business hours on September 15, 2025, to pursue career opportunities outside the organization.

Prasad, designated as key managerial personnel and senior managerial personnel, brings over two decades of experience in finance controllership, tax compliances, risk management, and digital transformation. His previous roles include plant controlling, internal auditor, and corporate finance manager. He is a fellow chartered accountant, an alumnus of IIM Bangalore, and holds a master's degree in economics.

Prasad currently serves as the chief accounting officer for Greater India at Schneider Electric, overseeing operations across India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. He holds two equity shares in the company. The board meeting, which addressed these changes, concluded on August 28, 2025.
