Bharat Electronics concludes 71st AGM, approves dividends and director appointments

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) held its 71st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 09:30 a.m. The meeting was conducted via Video Conferencing (VC) / Other Audio Visual Means (OAVM), in compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, and guidelines from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and SEBI. The AGM, chaired by Manoj Jain, saw the attendance of 67 members, including a representative of the President of India.

Shareholders approved the Audited Financial Statements and Consolidated Financial Statements for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025. They also confirmed an interim dividend of ₹1.50 per equity share and declared a final dividend of ₹0.90 per equity share of ₹1 each fully paid up for the financial year 2024-25.

Additionally, several directorial appointments were made. K V Suresh Kumar was re-appointed as director (marketing). Rajnish Sharma, Lt. General Vishwambhar Singh (Retd.), Harikumar Raghavan Nair, Pradeep Tripathi, Bharatsinh Prabhatsinh Parmar, Kamesh Kasana, and Meera Mohanty were appointed as directors. The meeting also approved the appointments of secretarial auditors and ratified the remuneration of the cost auditor.
