Samhi Hotels to open third Hyderabad hotel with new mid-scale lease

Samhi Hotels Limited, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Barque Hotels Private Limited, announced the signing of an agreement to lease for a 260-room mid-scale hotel in Hyderabad’s Financial District. This hotel will be developed by Aurean Eskar Homes LLP, with an estimated development cost for Samhi's fit-out and branding scope ranging from ₹1,250m to ₹1,430m.

The transaction is structured as a long-term variable lease, linking land value to the hotel’s operating performance. This new property will diversify Samhi’s offerings in the micro-market, complementing its existing Sheraton and Fairfield by Marriott properties in Hyderabad’s Financial District. The final lease deed is contingent upon receiving requisite building sanctions.

This expansion aligns with Samhi's strategy to capture multiple price points and strengthen its presence in core micro-markets. Ashish Jakhanwala, chairman & managing director, highlighted that this agreement deepens their presence in Hyderabad, serving a wider customer base and ensuring capital-efficient growth through its variable lease structure.
