Samhi Hotels expands in Hyderabad with new mid-scale hotel

Samhi Hotels Limited, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Barque Hotels Private Limited, announced an Agreement to Lease (ATL) with Mrs. P. Pramoda, Mrs. P. Harika, and Aurean Eskar for a 260-room mid-scale hotel in Hyderabad’s Financial District. The building will be developed by Aurean Eskar, with Samhi taking over for fit-outs and branding. The estimated development cost for Samhi’s scope is ₹1,250mn - ₹1,430mn.

This transaction marks Samhi’s third property in the Financial District, complementing its existing Sheraton (326 rooms) and Fairfield by Marriott (232 rooms). The agreement is structured as a long-term variable lease, linking land value realization to the hotel’s operating performance, enabling a capital-efficient approach to growth.

Ashish Jakhanwala, chairman & managing director, stated that this expansion deepens Samhi’s presence in the region, serving a wider customer base and aligning with its capital-efficient growth strategy through a long-term variable lease structure.
