Zydus Lifesciences: Executive passes, ESG rating improves

Zydus Lifesciences informed stock exchanges on August 26, 2025, of the passing of samir desai, president-BU biologics, a part of the company's senior management. Mr. Desai ceased to be part of the senior management as of this date.

In a separate announcement on the same date, Zydus Lifesciences disclosed that CRISIL Ratings Limited assigned an overall Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) score of 61 based on data from the financial year 2024-2025. This represents an increase from the previous score of 59.

According to CRISIL's rating framework, a score between 61-70 is considered 'strong'.
