United Breweries expands production with new canning line

United Breweries Limited is set to increase its manufacturing capacity by adding a new canning line facility at its Nizam Brewery in Telangana. This expansion aims to boost the production of premium products, including Kingfisher and Heineken®. The company has secured all necessary regulatory approvals, with the latest building permit order issued on August 25, 2025.

The proposed capacity addition is 0.4 mhl, which will increase the existing capacity of 0.5 mhl. The project is expected to be completed within one year. The total investment required for this expansion is ₹ 90 Crores, which will be financed through internal accruals, attributed to market demand.
