Tatva Chintan details FY25 sustainability and business responsibility

Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem Limited submitted its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report for the fiscal year 2024-25. The company’s total turnover for FY25 was INR 3,664.15 million, with a net worth of INR 7,213.12 million. Exports contributed 59.82% to the total turnover. Specialty chemicals accounted for 99.23% of turnover, with Structure Directing Agents (SDA) contributing 33.66% and Pharmaceutical and Agrochemical Intermediates and Other Specialty Chemicals (PASC) contributing 34.31%.

The company reported total energy consumption of 206,466.60 Gigajoules for FY25, all from non-renewable sources. Total waste generated amounted to 4,032.90 metric tons, of which 2,570.31 metric tons were recovered through recycling and reuse. Water withdrawal totaled 83,554 kiloliters, with consumption at 78,908 kiloliters. The Ankleshwar unit operates as a zero liquid effluent discharge facility.

Tatva Chintan maintained a strong commitment to employee well-being, with 100% of permanent employees and workers covered by health and accident insurance. The company reported zero complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, child labor, forced labor, or wages for FY25. An average of 20 EHS training hours per employee was provided, surpassing the annual target.
