Subros boosts sustainability, employee well-being in new report

Subros Limited, a manufacturer of air conditioning systems and components, has published its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report for the financial year 2024-25. The report details the company's commitment to sustainable practices. For FY2024-25, Subros reported a turnover of INR 3367.57 Crores and a net worth of INR 1093.93 Crores.

The company's initiatives include 100% R&D and capital expenditure investment in technologies to improve environmental and social impacts, leading to product energy efficiency and the use of Green Gases. Subros also achieved 100% sustainable sourcing of inputs. For employee well-being, 100% of permanent employees and workers are covered by health and accident insurance, with 100% of female permanent employees covered by maternity benefits.

Subros reported significant reductions in waste generation, with 100% of non-hazardous waste being recycled and all hazardous waste processed through authorized disposal entities. Total energy consumed from renewable sources was 57,301 Giga Joules. The company also implemented a zero liquid discharge system across all its plants to minimize water impact.
