Escorts Kubota gets tax penalty waiver

Escorts Kubota Limited said interest and penalty amounts imposed by tax authorities in Jaipur have been waived off.

The waiver relates to earlier tax demands of ₹3,060 and ₹1,310, along with a ₹20,000 penalty, connected to input tax credit eligibility issues. The relief was granted under section 128A of the CGST Act, 2017, with the original tax demands being appropriated.
