Nxtra by Airtel cuts emissions 15%, women workforce up 130%

Nxtra Data Limited reported a 15% year-over-year emission reduction to 188,507 tCO2e and sourced 49% of energy from renewable alternatives across its core data centers.

The company achieved 130% growth in its women workforce under the NxtWave initiative and contracted 482,800 MWh of renewable energy sourcing, three times higher than its 2021 baseline.

Nxtra reduced its average Power Usage Effectiveness by 10% compared to FY 2021 and operates over 14 large facilities and 120+ edge data centers across India.
