SJVN starts first unit of $1.6bn Bihar power plant

SJVN synchronized the first 660 MW unit of its 1320 MW Buxar Thermal Power Project with the national grid on August 21. The project in Bihar required investment of ₹13,756.56 crore and will generate 9,828.72 million units annually.

85% of power will be supplied to Bihar state.
