Hindalco reports 38% EBITDA jump, announces $10bn investment

Hindalco Industries reported consolidated EBITDA rose 38% to ₹35,496 crore in FY25, with revenue crossing ₹54,000 crore. The copper business achieved record EBITDA of ₹3,025 crore, while specialty alumina EBITDA jumped 46% to ₹835 crore.

The company announced a $10 billion global investment over five years, including ₹18,000 crore in Indian operations for FY25. Projects include expanding aluminium smelters, a new 850,000-tonne alumina refinery, and a 300,000-tonne copper smelter expansion.

The board recommended a dividend of ₹5 per equity share.
