IRCTC reports 7% profit rise driven by ticketing growth

Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Limited reported profit after tax of INR330 crores for Q1 FY26, up 7.14% year-on-year, with total revenue reaching INR1,160 crores.

The Internet Ticketing segment drove growth with revenue of INR360 crores, rising 9.12% year-on-year and achieving an 84% EBITDA margin. Tourism revenue jumped 21.3% to INR148 crores.

Catering revenue dipped slightly to INR547 crores due to the absence of election special trains compared to last year.
