NHPC reports $3.7bn profit, raises dividend for FY25

NHPC Limited reported standalone profit after tax of ₹3,084 crore and total income of ₹10,573 crore for FY25. The company recommended a total dividend of ₹1.91 per share, comprising a final dividend of ₹0.51 and interim dividend of ₹1.40.

The hydroelectric power company achieved Navratna status in August 2024 and commissioned the 800 MW Parbati-II project in April 2025. NHPC aims to increase its borrowing limit from ₹50,000 crore to ₹60,000 crore to support capital expenditure plans.
