Somany Ceramics halts plant operations after gas disruption

Somany Ceramics Limited temporarily halted operations at its Kassar plant in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, after a gas leakage on GAIL's pipeline disrupted natural gas supply essential for manufacturing.

The pipeline leak was caused by heavy rainfall and flood-like conditions. GAIL has begun restoration work.

The company said it has sufficient stock to avoid sales disruption, and all other plants remain operational.
