Voltas Q1 revenue drops 20% despite maintaining market leadership

Voltas Limited reported consolidated revenue of ₹4,020.65 crores for Q1 FY26, down from ₹5,001.27 crores last year. Profit before tax fell to ₹202.72 crores from ₹451.52 crores.

The air conditioning segment was hit by unseasonal weather, with EBIT dropping to ₹104.37 crores from ₹327.02 crores in Q1 FY25.

Despite the decline, Voltas maintained its number one position in room air conditioners with 17.80% market share, rising to 19.3% by June end. The company's appliances joint venture Voltbek achieved 33% volume growth driven by washing machines.
