Mukka Proteins wins Bengaluru waste management contract

Mukka Proteins Limited has been empanelled as an Authorised Waste Processor by Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited. The company will manage 200-300 metric tonnes per day of wet waste, with plans to expand to 1,000 tonnes daily.

The company will convert city waste into insect protein for animal feed and organic compost using Black Soldier Fly technology. Mukka Proteins will amend its Memorandum of Association to include new business objects focusing on insect-based products and comprehensive waste management.
