Arman Financial Services swings to $3.6m loss amid AUM decline

Arman Financial Services swung to a net loss of INR 14.6 crore in Q1 FY26 from a profit of INR 31.3 crore a year earlier.

Consolidated assets under management fell 16.9% year-on-year to INR 2,156.1 crore, while disbursements dropped 15.7% to INR 386.6 crore. Gross total income decreased 18.1% to INR 151.0 crore.

The standalone business bucked the trend with AUM rising 29.5% to INR 602.2 crore. However, microfinance subsidiary Namra Finance saw AUM decline 27.0% to INR 1,553.9 crore and posted a loss of INR 27.7 crore.
