Crompton Greaves diversifies into renewable energy products

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited is seeking shareholder approval to alter its Memorandum of Association, expanding its business scope to include manufacturing solar, wind, and geothermal products.

The company reported strong growth in solar pumps and small domestic appliances in Q1 FY26, despite seasonal impacts on fans and residential pumps.

Crompton also announced sustainability targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% and product emission intensity by 60% by 2035.
