Banswara Syntex posts loss despite 12.7% revenue growth

Banswara Syntex Limited reported total income of INR309.6 crores for Q1 FY26, up 12.7% year-on-year, but posted a PAT loss of INR1.4 crores. EBITDA increased marginally to INR21.9 crores.

The garment segment drove growth with 42% revenue increase to INR75 crores. However, temporary labor shortages in the yarn division reduced capacity utilization to 70%, impacting margins.

The company targets INR1,550 crores revenue and 12% EBITDA for the full year. Net debt stood at INR465 crores as of June 30, 2025.
