Fermenta Biotech swings to profit in Q1 2025

Fermenta Biotech Limited reported standalone total income of INR 12,786 lakhs for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, up from INR 7,533 lakhs in the prior-year quarter.

The company swung to a standalone profit after tax of INR 1,623 lakhs from a loss of INR 485 lakhs in the same period last year. Basic earnings per share reached INR 5.57.

On a consolidated basis, total income rose to INR 14,503 lakhs from INR 8,095 lakhs year-over-year. Consolidated profit after tax was INR 2,160 lakhs, compared to a loss of INR 593 lakhs previously. Consolidated earnings per share were INR 7.49.
