Ashoka Buildcon income falls 30% amid strategic restructuring

Ashoka Buildcon reported standalone income of INR 1,339.1 crores for Q1 FY26, down 30% year-on-year, though EBITDA grew 4% to INR 150.7 crores. Profit before tax fell 23% to INR 43.3 crores.

The company secured significant new contracts worth INR 1,956 crores, including railway and traffic management projects. As part of strategic restructuring, Ashoka Buildcon sold its 51% stake in Prakashmaan Renewable Energy for INR 1.98 crore and transferred shareholdings in 16 subsidiaries.

Discussions continue regarding Macquarie and SBI Macquarie's exit from ACL operations.
