National Aluminium reports 77% profit surge in Q1

National Aluminium Company Limited reported profit after tax of INR 1,064 crore in Q1 FY26, up 77% year-over-year. Total income rose 34.8% to INR 3,931 crore.

Production gains included bauxite up 6.6% to 1,883 thousand tonnes and alumina hydrate surging 35.1% to 578 thousand tonnes. Alumina export sales jumped 206.4% to 274.6 thousand tonnes, while domestic metal sales grew 8.9% to 113.4 thousand tonnes.
