Jindal Stainless cuts emissions 14% in sustainability push

Jindal Stainless Limited reported a 14% reduction in Scope 1+2 and Scope 3 emissions from FY 2024 levels, achieving a total reduction of 9.53 lakh tonnes over four years. Recycled material utilization increased to 72.11%.

The company invested 11.33% of its capex in FY 2025 towards environmental and social impact improvements, including an acid recovery system and green hydrogen plant.

Water withdrawal totaled 15,077,894 kilolitres, with 100% sourced sustainably. Total waste generated amounted to 1,945,438.26 metric tonnes, with 1,984,265.3 metric tonnes of non-hazardous waste recycled.
