Atul forms water treatment joint venture with Buckman

Atul Ltd. has signed an agreement to form a joint venture with Buckman Laboratories (Asia) Pte. Ltd. for advanced water treatment solutions.

The new company, to be named 'Atul-Buckman', will focus on manufacturing and marketing water treatment chemicals, digital solutions, and technical expertise. Both companies will each hold a 50% share in the joint venture.

Atul will provide land, utilities, and site services, while Buckman will contribute technology and product know-how. The joint venture aims to develop solutions for industrial water treatment across various industries, including chemical, food processing, power, and textiles.

The managing director will be appointed by Atul, and the chairman by Buckman, with equal board representation from both parties.
