NTPC Green Energy wins green ammonia contract, adds capacity

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited won a 70,000 metric tonnes per annum green ammonia supply contract at ₹51.80 per kg through a Solar Energy Corporation of India auction. The supply will go to Krishana Phoschem Limited in Madhya Pradesh.

A group company also commissioned 75 MW of new capacity, contributing to a cumulative 300 MW from joint venture IRCON Renewable Power Limited. The developments bring NTPC group's total installed capacity to 82,977 MW.
