Emami achieves plastic neutrality, cuts emissions five-fold

Emami Limited reported turnover of ₹3,123.5 crore and net worth of ₹2,864.86 crore for FY 2024-25, while achieving 100% plastic neutrality through recycling 10,365 metric tonnes of packaging.

The company exceeded environmental targets, reducing water consumption by 20,236 kilolitres against a 4,000 kilolitre target and cutting emissions by 1,568 tCO2e, surpassing its 358 tCO2e goal by more than four times.

Total energy consumption reached 1,23,410 GJ, with renewable sources contributing 23,734 GJ.
