Bharti Airtel revenue jumps 28.5% as profits double

Bharti Airtel reported Q1 FY26 consolidated revenues of Rs 49,463 crore, up 28.5% year-on-year, with net income more than doubling to Rs 5,948 crore.

India mobile services revenue grew 21.6% with average revenue per user rising to Rs 250. The company added 939,000 broadband customers and expanded its fiber network by 1.6 million home passes.

Africa operations delivered 24.9% constant currency revenue growth.
