Bank of Maharashtra appoints new digital transformation head

Bank of Maharashtra has appointed Devesh Verma as general manager of digital transformation, effective August 4, 2025.

Verma, 38, brings nearly 17 years of experience in digital transformation initiatives within the banking sector. He holds a B.Tech in Information Technology and completed an Executive Programme in Digital Transformation from IIM Indore.

Prior to joining Bank of Maharashtra, he held positions at Poonawala Fincorp, Kotak Mahindra Bank, SBI, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank. He previously served as deputy CTO in his last organization.
