3M India cuts emissions, boosts renewable energy use

3M India Limited reported improved sustainability metrics for FY 2024-25, with total emissions falling across both Scope 1 and Scope 2 categories to 4,550 and 10,774 metric tonnes of CO2 equivalent respectively.

The company recovered 4,405 metric tonnes of its 4,532 metric tonnes of total waste through recycling and reuse operations. Renewable sources contributed 18,003 GJ of the company's total energy consumption of 116,948 GJ.

Female wages as a percentage of total wages increased to 14.5% from 13.5% in the previous year.
