SML Isuzu announces leadership changes, auditor resignation

SML Isuzu Limited announced key leadership changes effective August 2, 2025. Vinod Kumar Sahay becomes executive chairman, while chief financial officer Rakesh Bhalla's term ends September 30, 2025, transitioning to an advisory role. Pushkar Patwardhan is appointed chief financial officer designate and Ritesh Agrawal as chief operating officer.

Statutory auditor Walker Chandiok & Co LLP resigned, citing independence concerns over non-audit services provided to the holding company by a related party. BSR & Co. LLP has been appointed as replacement for a five-year term.
