JSW Energy commissions first unit of 240 MW hydro plant

JSW Energy has commissioned the first 80 MW unit of its 240 MW Kutehr Hydro Electric Project, starting power supply under a 35-year agreement with Haryana Power Purchase Centre at ₹4.50/kWh.

This increases the company's installed hydro capacity to 1,471 MW and boosts its renewable energy share to 56%. JSW Energy targets 30 GW generation capacity by 2030.
