Maharashtra Seamless profit jumps 72% in Q1

Maharashtra Seamless reported profit after tax of Rs 234 crore for Q1 FY26, up 72% from Rs 136 crore a year earlier. Revenue rose to Rs 1,303 crore with EBITDA margins improving to 15%.

The company plans Rs 534 crore in capital expenditure for heat treatment facilities and hot mill upgrades, expected to boost turnover by Rs 1,800 crore combined. The order book stands at Rs 1,149 crore as of July 25.
