Dhampur Bio Organics revenue jumps 29% despite heavy losses

Dhampur Bio Organics reported revenue of ₹821.19 crores for Q1 FY26, up 28.75% from ₹637.84 crores the previous year. Growth was driven by an 83.55% surge in Bio-Fuel & Spirits sales and 50.72% rise in Country Liquor sales.

However, profitability collapsed due to sharp margin declines in Sugar and Bio-Fuel & Spirits segments. EBITDA plunged 81.75% to ₹6.33 crores with margins at just 0.77%. The company posted a net loss of ₹19.37 crores versus a ₹1.11 crore profit last year.
