Archean Chemical profit rises 7% amid semiconductor push

Archean Chemical Industries reported standalone net profit of INR 5,184.85 lakhs for the quarter ended June 30, up from INR 4,846.22 lakhs a year earlier. Total standalone income reached INR 29,145.23 lakhs.

However, consolidated net profit fell to INR 4,014.30 lakhs from INR 4,484.17 lakhs in the prior year, despite consolidated income rising to INR 30,058.88 lakhs.

The company is investing GBP 17 million in Clas-SiC Wafer Fab Limited and USD 12 million in Offgrid Energy Labs Inc, expanding into semiconductor and energy storage sectors.
