Bombay Burmah Trading swings to INR 12.9bn profit

Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation reported a profit of INR 12,899 lakhs for FY 2024-25, a significant turnaround from a loss of INR 588 lakhs in the previous year.

Total revenue increased to INR 47,244 lakhs from INR 38,275 lakhs, primarily driven by a substantial dividend of INR 18,221 lakhs from an overseas subsidiary.

The company also redeemed non-convertible debentures worth INR 5,000 lakhs and paid an interim dividend of INR 17 per equity share.
