Godrej Industries cuts energy use 37%, emissions fall

Godrej Industries Limited reported a 37% reduction in specific energy consumption and 41% cut in water usage from its 2012 baseline in its sustainability report for the year ended March 2025.

The company's greenhouse gas emissions fell 37% over the same period, while renewable energy now accounts for 64% of total consumption at 1,132,624 GJ versus 631,667 GJ from non-renewable sources.

Gender diversity improved to 25%, surpassing the company's 18% target for the year. The firm reported zero workplace injuries or fatalities among employees and workers.
