Fermenta Biotech swings to ₹76 crore profit after turnaround

Fermenta Biotech Limited reported a significant financial turnaround for FY25, with total revenue rising to ₹481 crore from ₹347 crore in FY24, and net profit rebounding to ₹76 crore from a ₹24 crore loss.

The company achieved 40% revenue growth while expenses grew by only 14%. Gross debt was reduced from ₹236 crore to ₹109 crore, while cash and cash equivalents increased to ₹72 crore.

Key initiatives include the commercialization of VITADEE Green and expansion into food fortification.
