IRCON wins $135m Mumbai metro rail contracts

IRCON International Limited has won two Letters of Acceptance from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority for metro rail projects worth a combined INR 1,113.73 crores and EURO 5.63 million.

The first contract covers Line 5's electrical and mechanical works including power systems and depot facilities. The second involves Line 6's power supply, traction systems, lifts and escalators for the Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli section.

Both contracts include five years of comprehensive maintenance following completion.
