Airtel offers free AI Pro subscriptions to 360m customers

Bharti Airtel has partnered with Perplexity to offer 12-month Perplexity Pro subscriptions free to all 360 million mobile, Wi-Fi, and DTH customers. The annual subscription is valued at INR 17,000 per customer.

The collaboration, effective July 17, 2025, marks Perplexity's first partnership with an Indian telecom company. Customers can access the offer via the Airtel Thanks App.

Perplexity Pro provides enhanced AI-powered search features including more daily searches, access to advanced models like GPT 4.1 and Claude, research capabilities, image generation, and file analysis.
