Hercules Hoists shifts to investment focus after demerger

Hercules Hoists Limited reported profit after tax fell to Rs. 558.22 lakhs from Rs. 882.83 lakhs the previous year, primarily due to reduced other income. Total assets rose to Rs. 94,019.39 lakhs from Rs. 78,169.68 lakhs.

The company will propose changing its name to "Hercules Investments Limited" or "Hercules Securities Limited" to reflect its strategic shift to focus solely on investment activities following the manufacturing business demerger.
