Uno Minda cuts carbon intensity 76% since 2022

Uno Minda Limited achieved a 76% decrease in carbon intensity since FY2021-22 and increased renewable energy usage by 24% in its latest sustainability report.

The auto components manufacturer generated 91% of turnover from manufacturing, with exports contributing 4.2% to total revenue. Female employees now represent 16.76% of the workforce as of March 31, 2025, with the company targeting 20% by 2030.

Total energy consumed from renewable sources reached 172,349 GJ in FY2024-25, compared to 1,746,396 GJ from non-renewable sources. The company recovered 11,783 metric tonnes of its 16,810.60 metric tonnes total waste through recycling or reuse.
