New India Assurance appoints Jayashree Nair as chief compliance officer

The New India Assurance Company Limited has appointed Jayashree Nair, general manager, as its chief compliance officer, effective July 15, 2025. She succeeds Abhishek Pagaria in the role.

Nair is a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Insurance Institute of India, with over 20 years of insurance industry experience. She previously served as company secretary and chief compliance officer until September 2023, before her posting as chief operating officer for UAE operations.
