Bharat Forge fined for director compliance delay

Bharat Forge Limited was fined INR 13,80,600 for delays in complying with listing regulations regarding independent directors.

The company's sustainability report for FY 2024-25 showed total energy consumption of 26,97,120 GJ, with renewable sources contributing 5,30,790 GJ. Water withdrawal totaled 9,92,253 kilolitres.

Waste management efforts generated 1,07,049.80 metric tonnes of total waste, with 1,06,169.02 metric tonnes recovered through recycling and other recovery operations.

The company employs 2,948 total employees and 6,545 workers. Bharat Forge plans to obtain SA 8000 Social Accountability Certification in the coming year.
