Hero MotoCorp achieves 53% carbon neutrality target

Hero MotoCorp achieved 53% carbon neutrality in FY 2024-25 towards its 2030 target, the motorcycle and scooter manufacturer reported in its sustainability filing.

The company reached 100% zero waste-to-landfill across all facilities in FY 2023-24, one year ahead of schedule. Total energy consumption was 845,800 gigajoules for the year.

Hero MotoCorp reported turnover of ₹40,756 crore for the period, with total waste generation of 19,076 metric tonnes, of which 5,153 metric tonnes were recovered through recycling and reuse operations.
