Indegene launches AI-powered medical writing automation platform

Indegene announced the launch of NEXT Medical Writing Automation on July 11, 2025. The platform combines medical writing expertise with generative AI to accelerate creation of compliant documents for clinical development and regulatory submissions.

The platform integrates Indegene's domain knowledge with its AI engine, Cortex, operating within Microsoft Word to auto-generate compliant drafts and integrate with Regulatory Information Management systems.

According to Sameer Lal, senior vice president of enterprise medical solutions, the platform enables writers to focus on strategic tasks while automating data and formatting.
